# Staking

Sending your Humans on missions is a core part of Eden's gameplay loop. While not everyone may be a gamer, we’ve designed the experience so that all holders can engage meaningfully - even passively.

The current version of Staking is just the beginning. We're actively building out new features and expansions that will make Staking a deeper, more rewarding part of the Eden ecosystem in the weeks and months ahead.

The number of Humans you own determines how which level of quest you can start — higher-level quests offer greater bonus multipliers and bigger rewards.

Once you’ve chosen a quest, you’ll assign a raider to it. For now, all Humans are equal—there are no differences in abilities, advantages, or disadvantages between them. This may evolve in future updates.

After selecting your raider, simply sign the transaction to send them on their mission.

If you want to change the mission or adjust your setup - such as selecting additional raiders (available on the fourth mission) - you can abort the current mission at any time and restart it with your preferred configuration.

## Raids

You can initiate one raid at a time. For now, raids run indefinitely, as only points can be farmed. Once we come closer to Alpha and real rewards are introduced to the platform, time-limited raids and unique expeditions will be added to the mix.

If you have more than 25 Humans, the fourth mission is your best option - it’s the only one that lets you start raids with larger groups beyond that threshold.

## Points

Points play a central role in the Staking system. The more you earn, the higher your level - and the greater the perks you’ll be eligible for when the time comes.&#x20;

Each Human on a raid earns 2 points every 24 hours, with rarity and attributes currently having no impact on the rate.

The objective is simple: accumulate as many points as possible during this limited-time window. What points will do remains a secret for now.&#x20;
