Humans
Humans are the living backbone of Eden: Discovery. The collection consists of 7,500 playable NFTs, minted in May 2025, each representing a fully realized 3D character that players can bring directly into the world of Eden. Every Human is the physical incarnation of the original XPUNKS Genesis pixel art - translated from iconic 2D identity into a body that can fight, survive, and persist in a hostile future. In the lore, Humans are the last true carriers of human consciousness, created during the Age of Unions when cloning, augmentation, and AI governance blurred the line between person and product.
Within Eden, Humans aren’t just avatars: they can be deployed actively in raids or sent passively on scavenging missions, earning points and rewards even for players who don’t live in the wasteland full-time. As remnants of a humanity slowly being optimized out of existence, each Human represents resistance, continuity, and agency - proof that identity still matters in a world managed by machines.
