The $EDEN token

$EDEN will serve as the native in-game currency within Eden: Discovery. It is the fuel of the wasteland economy. Players will use $EDEN to acquire weapons, ammunition, gear, land, and cosmetic upgrades. As in any real economy, a financial layer is critical to facilitate both survival and progression. Whether through NPC vendors, direct player-to-player trading, or buy-ins for tournaments, $EDEN acts as the unit of account that powers all activity inside Eden.

Thriving in Eden requires more than sharp aim, it demands smart resource management. Every raid carries risk, and players must decide how much gear to bring, how much currency to risk, and when to extract to secure their spoils. Entering player-hosted tournaments requires $EDEN as buy-ins, with winners claiming the pooled rewards. Future creator-driven maps and modes will also use $EDEN for access fees and monetization, ensuring that both players and creators share in the economy.

Circularity

A sustainable token economy in Eden relies on a fully circular system where every inflow creates new opportunities for outflow and reinvestment. $EDEN enters the ecosystem through in-game sales, taxation, and tournament buy-ins, while unclaimed tokens are recycled back into the treasury. From there, value flows outward as mission rewards, staking incentives, and player-driven payouts, ensuring constant activity and utility. At the same time, players spend $EDEN on weapons, skins, consumables, land, loot boxes, and more, creating demand and fueling the cycle. Tournament rewards, renting, insurance, and trading further keep tokens moving between players. This closed-loop system ensures that $EDEN is never idle; it continually circulates, driving both gameplay and community engagement while securing long-term stability for the economy.
